Deep Creek Families and Community Members,

Deep Creek Elementary is preparing to host our annual Teddy Bear Picnic event on March 14, 2025. This is a beloved annual event that has spanned the school’s history of more than 30 years. This event provides our families an opportunity to visit their child’s classroom to check in on their learning through Student Led Conferences, and then visit our courtyard area where all of our school families engage in a picnic together. There is nothing more powerful than seeing all of our families coming together for this experience. 

Each year at the Teddy Bear Picnic, our PTO facilitates a silent auction. The goal of the auction is to raise funds for Staff Appreciation Week. We are currently seeking donations for items to be placed in our silent auction. If your business or family would like to donate an item or basket of items to our auction please contact us at 941-255-7535 or speak with one of the members of our PTO. Silent auction items will be on display for our families during the picnic and will highlight the names of our donors. We will be accepting donations until Monday, March 10th. We greatly appreciate your consideration in supporting our school.
